The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has said that the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Lahore on Tuesday and headed a meeting at the Corps Headquarters.
According to ISPR, General Qamar Javed Bajwa met senior serving and retired officers of the Pakistan Army in the provincial capital and expressed views on professional affairs along with the regional security situation.
The Army Chief shed light on efforts to maintain peace and stability, possible opportunities, benefits and challenges. The participants gave suggestions to the COAS on various issues.
General Jehangir Karamat (retd), General Ahsan Saleem Hayat (retd), General Tariq Majid (retd), General Rashad Mahmood (retd) and General Raheel Sharif (retd) were also present during the meeting.
