Ogra increases gas consumers’ minimum charges up to 39%

Islamabad:The oil and gas regulatory authority (Ogra) has increased minimum charges for gas consumers up to 39 percent.

The regulator has increased minimum charges by 17 percent for bulk domestic consumers.

The minimum charges for commercial consumers have been increased by 9 percent.

However, the minimum charges for industry, CNG, Cement, Power, IPP, captive powers and Zero Rated have recorded an increase of  39 percent.

Minimum charges for commercial consumers have been set at 6,415.00 per month, General industry Rs. 36,449.70 per month, CNG Rs. 45,803.10 per month and Cement Rs. 45,588.90 per month.
