2027 Kia Telluride Redefines Boxy with Modern Edge
Kia’s popular three-row SUV, the Telluride, is gearing up for a grand comeback with its 2027 model set to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The updated version promises a bolder design, smarter technology, and extra cabin room, strengthening its appeal among family SUV enthusiasts.
The second-generation Telluride grows noticeably in size, stretching 2.3 inches longer with an extended 2.7-inch wheelbase.
Despite its larger frame, the SUV preserves its upright, boxy silhouette that made the original model an instant favorite among family car buyers.
Its proportions now align closely with the 2026 Hyundai Palisade, positioning the new Telluride as a strong rival in the midsize SUV category.
At the front, the Telluride receives a striking makeover featuring a full-width grille flanked by vertical amber Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).
The rear design channels Range Rover vibes, showcasing slim, tall taillights and a bold “Telluride” badge across the tailgate giving it a refined yet rugged appearance.

Enhancing its adventurous appeal, the X-Pro variant features 18-inch CrossContact tires, sturdy tow hooks, and squared wheel arches for rugged off-road capability.
Inside, the 2027 Telluride blends comfort with contemporary flair. A two-tone cabin design hosts twin 12.3-inch displays one serving as a digital cluster and the other as an infotainment hub.
The X-Pro trim offers a sportier, all-black interior accented with Forged Carbon, a lightweight composite material crafted from chopped carbon fiber.
Kia has not disclosed the engine specifications yet, but anticipation is growing as the L.A. Auto Show approaches for the full model unveiling.
