Possible facilities to be provided to Chinese for business: Naqvi

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stated that the government prioritizes the safety of Chinese nationals residing in Pakistan.


He made these comments during a meeting with a representative group from the Chinese business community, headed by Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren, held in Lahore today.

The Interior Minister assured that every possible facility will be extended to Chinese nationals for their business operations. He mentioned that standard operating procedures have been established to ensure the security of Chinese individuals.


Additionally, the Minister announced that starting from August 14, visas for Chinese nationals will be available online, which will simplify the process for Chinese businesspeople traveling to Pakistan.


Mohsin Naqvi acknowledged the feedback from Chinese entrepreneurs and promised prompt action on their suggestions.


Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren remarked that Pakistan and China enjoy a model relationship.
