State-Owned Enterprises: Cabinet Committee Approves New Appointments

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb presided over a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on State-Owned Enterprises in Islamabad today.

During the meeting, the Committee approved the Finance Division and Power Division’s proposals for the appointment of independent directors and chairpersons to the boards of ZTBL and NTDC, respectively.Cabinet Decides No New Duty on Solar Panels

The Committee also reviewed a proposal from the Ministry of Housing and Works and decided to classify the Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation (PHA-F) as a critical entity, with instructions to submit a revised plan for PHA-F to the Committee.
