Government to Guarantee Steady Gas Supply for Fertilizer Plants

ISLAMABAD: A steady supply of gas will be guaranteed for all fertilizer plants to ensure the production of urea for the upcoming Rabi season.

This decision was made during a meeting led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad today.Fertilizer Firms Directed to Open Sales Shop

Several strategies were reviewed to ensure an adequate supply of fertilizer at reasonable prices for wheat planting in the forthcoming Rabi season. It was agreed to maintain a continuous gas supply to prevent losses in imports and foreign exchange.

The Deputy Prime Minister also called on provincial governments to enhance market monitoring to keep prices stable and prevent profiteering.
