Aleem Khan pledges support to Gems & Stones entrepreneurs

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan has stated that substantial revenue could be generated by granting industry status to Gems and Stones.

He made this statement while leading a meeting of the Prime Minister’s Steering Committee on Gems and Stones in Islamabad.Pakistan Secures New IMF Deal; Tax Reforms to Boost GDP by 300bps

The Minister emphasized that the reorganization of this sector is crucial, and issues need to be addressed urgently.

He mentioned that the Prime Minister expects tangible and clear advancements in this sector within the next six months.

Abdul Aleem Khan urged all relevant departments to collaborate and develop a unified policy for Gems and Stones. Additionally, he established a sub-committee to devise the government policy.

The Federal Minister committed to offering all possible assistance to entrepreneurs involved in Gems and Stones.
