The United Arab Emirates has revised its entry requirements by introducing fresh income thresholds for residents applying to sponsor relatives or friends on visit visas.
According to the new regulations, a guarantor must earn at least Dh4,000 each month to bring in first-degree relatives, including parents, children, or spouses.
For second or third-degree relatives such as cousins, uncles, or grandparents, the guarantor will be required to show a monthly income of no less than Dh8,000.
If a resident plans to invite a friend under the visit visa category, the guarantor must demonstrate a minimum monthly income of Dh15,000.
