UAE Visit Visa Monthly Income Rules Announced

The United Arab Emirates has revised its entry requirements by introducing fresh income thresholds for residents applying to sponsor relatives or friends on visit visas.

According to the new regulations, a guarantor must earn at least Dh4,000 each month to bring in first-degree relatives, including parents, children, or spouses.

For second or third-degree relatives such as cousins, uncles, or grandparents, the guarantor will be required to show a monthly income of no less than Dh8,000.

If a resident plans to invite a friend under the visit visa category, the guarantor must demonstrate a minimum monthly income of Dh15,000.

In another development, a humanitarian residence permit valid for one year has been announced, which can be renewed based on official assessment.

Authorities have also approved residence permits for foreign widows or divorcees, granting them a one-year stay with the possibility of renewal.
