New Changan Hybrid Pickup Hints at Pakistan Launch

Leaked images suggest that Changan is testing the Deepal K50 Hunter, a range-extended electric pickup designed to combine power, efficiency, and modern technology features.

The development represents a significant step toward expanding Changan electric vehicle portfolio and strengthening its presence in Pakistan growing automotive market.

The Deepal K50 Hunter reportedly produces 268 horsepower and 472 Newton metres of torque, ensuring strong performance suitable for both commercial and off-road purposes.

Its hybrid powertrain is engineered to reduce fuel consumption while maintaining extended driving range, improved efficiency, and long-term durability under diverse conditions.

If launched officially, the K50 Hunter will likely rival the BYD Shark 6 in Pakistan emerging hybrid pickup segment, attracting environmentally conscious consumers.

Both vehicles are designed to appeal to buyers seeking enhanced performance, advanced features, improved mileage, and reduced environmental footprint within the competitive pickup category.

Industry experts believe the K50 Hunter introduction could diversify Pakistan pickup market by merging rugged design, intelligent systems, and innovative electric mobility solutions.

The model is also expected to align with the government commitment to promote sustainable transportation choices and accelerate the adoption of cleaner technologies nationwide.

Changan has not yet released any official statement regarding the vehicle launch timeline or pricing details in Pakistan automotive sector.
