Watch: Dolphin Squad Faces Dismissal Over Disobedience
At least twenty six members of the Dolphin Squad were removed from service after reportedly defying official deployment instructions, said officials from Islamabad Police.
Authorities stated that disciplinary measures were taken after several personnel refused to report for duty outside the capital, particularly in Lahore, creating serious administrative challenges.
Despite repeated directions from police headquarters, many officers allegedly failed to appear at the designated police lines, which prompted immediate action by senior department officials.
SP Dolphin Khalid Awan later released a video message, urging all absent members to reach the headquarters within fifteen minutes or face termination from the police service.

In his video statement, SP Awan appealed to the officers to comply without delay, warning that failure to respond would lead to strict departmental action against all those who disobeyed.
Police insiders mentioned that while some officers raised concerns over deployment in Lahore, their refusal to follow orders was considered a clear act of insubordination.
SP Awan asserted that order and discipline form the foundation of the police force and any violation of duty will be dealt with strictly to preserve institutional integrity.
