Noman Equals 70-Year-Old Pakistani Bowling Record
Pakistan spinner Noman Ali delivered a vital breakthrough by dismissing Wiaan Mulder for 17 runs off 41 balls, limiting South Africa to 80 for two on the second day in Lahore.
At 39 years of age, Noman Ali became the oldest Pakistani bowler in seventy years to claim a Test wicket, matching the feat achieved by 47-year-old Miran Bakhsh against India in 1955.
By tea, South Africa reached 112 for the lost of two wickets, with Ryan Rickelton batting on 45 runs off 96 balls and Tony de Zorzi holding firm on 23 runs off 33 deliveries.
Earlier in the morning session, Pakistan were dismissed for 378 runs in their first innings after a dramatic collapse that saw five wickets fall for only sixteen runs.

Senuran Muthusamy bowled a brilliant spell of left-arm spin, taking three quick wickets to end the innings before the scheduled lunch interval on the second day.
The home side had earlier dominated with solid batting performances from Imam ul Haq and captain Shan Masood, who scored 93 and 76 runs respectively.
Mohammad Rizwan played a composed knock of 75, while Salman Agha top-scored with 93 as Pakistan reached 313 for five before losing their rhythm.
Muthusamy finished with six wickets and Prenelan Subrayen added two, as South Africa gained control of the match before beginning their response at Gaddafi Stadium.
