Pakistan left arm spinner Noman Ali has written his name in cricket history by breaking Abdul Qadir record for most wickets in five consecutive Tests.
He achieved this milestone by taking 46 wickets between his 16th and 20th Tests, surpassing Qadir tally of 44 wickets recorded during 1987 to 1988.
The 37 year old spinner remarkable consistency and control have made him Pakistan most dependable bowling option in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship cycle.
Over the past year, Noman has outperformed top batters across different conditions with his clever variations, accuracy, and ability to extract sharp turn.

His dominant performances include 10 wickets against South Africa in Lahore, 16 against West Indies, and 20 wickets against England in Multan and Rawalpindi.

Earlier in the match, he became the oldest Pakistani bowler in seventy years to claim a Test wicket at 39 years of age, matching the feat achieved by Miran Bakhsh against India in 1955.
