YouTube Back Online After Hours of Disruption
YouTube services were fully restored after a global outage that temporarily disrupted video streaming for users across multiple countries, including Pakistan.
The disruption began early morning on October 16 and affected YouTube, YouTube Music, and YouTube TV, preventing users from playing videos or logging into their accounts.
According to outage tracker Downdetector, reports peaked around 4:55 a.m. PST, with more than 366,000 users in the United States experiencing issues simultaneously.
Similar complaints also surfaced from UK, Canada, and Australia, confirming that the disruption had spread widely across several major international regions.
Later, the platform announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that services had been restored and users could once again stream content normally.

However, YouTube provided no official explanation for the incident, leaving millions of users curious about the exact cause behind the widespread global outage.
During the downtime, social media platforms were filled with posts, memes, and user complaints, with many asking the same question: Is YouTube down?
