Huawei Confirms Mate 80 Series Launch Date
Huawei has officially confirmed the launch date for its anticipated Mate 80 series, ending widespread speculation across the tech industry.
The China-based company will unveil the lineup during a major product showcase scheduled for November 25 at 2:30 PM in China.
Huawei also plans to introduce its latest foldable device, the Mate X7, during the same high-profile launch event next week.
A newly released teaser keeps design details hidden but highlights two bold circular shapes hinting at significant changes in appearance.
These circular elements appear to suggest a refreshed camera module and possibly a magnetic ring embedded within the rear panel design.
Reports from China indicate four models: Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max, and the Mate 80 RS Edition.
The Pro Max reportedly replaces the earlier Pro Plus branding, although overall structural changes are expected to remain relatively minimal.

Across the lineup, Huawei is expected to introduce 3D facial recognition, previously reserved only for the highest-tier Mate models.
Rumors suggest a shift toward a side-mounted fingerprint sensor alongside a redesigned camera island featuring a striking red maple finish.
Some leaks claim Huawei may offer a variant with an impressive 20GB RAM powered by the upcoming Kirin 9030 chipset.
The company is reportedly testing an internal active cooling fan, an unusual addition for flagship smartphones aiming for enhanced performance stability.
Huawei will simultaneously launch the Mate X7 foldable, expected to feature a 7.95-inch 2K display with ultra-thin UTG glass.
The foldable device may include a bigger battery, upgraded cameras, slimmer proportions, and new colors such as Cosmic Red and Cloud Blue.
