Balochistan Revises School Curriculum from Grade 1

The Balochistan Education Department has announced significant changes to the curriculum for the upcoming academic year.

As per the details, the revised plan aims to strengthen both religious and digital education across schools in the province.

Under the new system, Nazra Quran and Quran translation will be made compulsory for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12.

Officials said the move ensures that Quranic education is consistently integrated across all levels of schooling.

In addition to religious subjects, the department will introduce new computer education textbooks for students in Grades 6 to 8.

These materials are designed to enhance digital literacy and equip students with skills necessary for modern technological demands.

The government has also prepared separate textbooks for Grades 6 to 12 focused on promoting responsible and positive use of social media.

The books aim to raise awareness about online safety, digital responsibility, and ethical behaviour in the digital world.

The updated curriculum is scheduled to be implemented at the beginning of the next academic year across all schools in Balochistan.
