The Directorate General of Basic Education Community Schools (BECS) in collaboration with Federal Directorate of Education Islamabad, has successfully organized the Grade 5 Final Examination for Non-Formal Education learners across Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

A total of 789 learners at 21 examination centers appeared in the examination.

These students are part of BECS’s Non-Formal Education program, which provides a second chance to Out-of-School Children (OOSC) to continue their education and become part of the mainstream education system.

This initiative reflects strong commitment of Director General BECS Hameed Khan Niazi, to promoting inclusive and equitable education, particularly for learners from underprivileged communities.

Through flexible learning pathways and community-based schools, BECS is helping bridge educational gaps and empower marginalized children.
