SNGPL Suspends Gas Supply in Sheikhupura on Oct 1 for Maintenance

LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a temporary suspension of gas supply in Sheikhupura’s Balarkay area and surrounding localities on Thursday, October 1, due to maintenance work.

The interruption is scheduled to occur between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM as part of tie-in work being conducted on the main gas pipeline. Affected areas include Balarkay, Hoyekay, Bhadman, Amba Kalyan, Dera Gujran, Clippy Dogran 4, Chak Rasala, Chak No. 5, Bhathal, and adjoining localities.

The maintenance work aims to ensure the reliability and safety of the gas distribution network, according to the official update posted by SNGPL on their social media platform.

Residents and businesses in the affected regions are advised to make necessary arrangements to manage the temporary disruption during the specified hours. SNGPL apologised for any inconvenience caused and assured that services will resume promptly after the completion of maintenance operations.

Such scheduled maintenance work is part of ongoing efforts by the energy sector in Punjab to improve infrastructure and service delivery to consumers.
