Australian High Commissioner Calls-On Secretary WPC

Islamabad: Secretary Women’s Parliamentary Caucus, Dr. Shahida Rehmani, MNA met with a delegation led by the Australian High Commissioner H.E. Mr. Neil Hawkins today at the Parliament House to discuss matters of mutual interest and exchange ideas on promoting women’s empowerment.

During the meeting, both sides agreed to establish parliamentary exchanges between the two countries, including training workshops to advance women’s participation in various fields.Pak-Australia agreed to collaborate on water security

Secretary WPC also highlighted the performance of the Caucus along with the initiatives taken. The delegation praised efforts made by the Caucus and acknowledged its significant contributions to women’s empowerment in Pakistan.

The meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral ties and explore opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in promoting gender equality and women’s leadership.
