Rabel Sadozai Wins Campaign Asia Pacific’s Chief Marketer Award

Rabel Sadozai, Director of Marketing and Sales, Fatima Fertiliser, got the Chief Marketer Award in the business category at Campaign Asia-Pacific’s Women Leading Change Awards 2023.

In its sixth year, the Women Leading Change Awards honour women who question, push, innovate, lead, inspire, and promote change across all industries.

The campaign uses the award to highlight the region’s most inspiring women business leaders, change makers, trailblazers, and rising stars who defy stereotypes and bias.

Several Asia Pacific entries were received in the inaugural Chief Marketer category. Rabel broke barriers by becoming the first female agriculture executive.

She proposed and implemented Pakistan’s first Farmer’s Day, which the government officially recognises, thanks to her innovative leadership.

Rabel and her team have also empowered and celebrated women in agriculture through initiatives like Jugnu Mohsin’s Khaki Desan quest to revive a rare breed of Pakistani cotton, Nazo Dharejo’s bravery and resilience through the Sarsabz Kahani web series, and Rabia Sultan’s achievements as a progressive farmer through a testimonial campaign.

The team also runs Sarsabz Tabeer to educate and empower female farmers in Pakistan. The team’s pioneering work on real farmers’ hopes, challenges, and aspirations has won local and international praise.
