Cnergyico Signs 20-Year Pipeline Deal with Asia Petroleum

Cnergyico Pk Ltd. has entered into a significant 20-year agreement with Asia Petroleum Ltd. to utilize a 14-inch pipeline network for transporting high-speed diesel. This deal, announced in a regulatory filing on February 25, 2026, aims to streamline diesel transport from Cnergyico’s refineries to key distribution points.
Under the agreement, diesel will be moved directly from Cnergyico’s refining facilities to the Zulfiqarabad Oil Terminal. Pakistan Fuel Oil Exports Hit Record High
From there, it will connect to the White Oil Pipeline system and storage infrastructure located at Port Qasim. This new corridor is expected to create a direct refinery-to-terminal route for diesel distribution, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
The arrangement is still subject to regulatory approvals and the completion of physical connectivity between the involved facilities. Once finalized, the pipeline transport method is anticipated to reduce the current reliance on tanker trucks, which will help ease highway congestion and lower accident risks. Additionally, this shift is expected to cut logistics costs and minimize product losses compared to road-based haulage.
Cnergyico’s board has authorized its management to finalize and execute the definitive agreements once all conditions precedent are met, marking a pivotal step in improving Pakistan’s fuel transportation infrastructure.
