FBR Extends Income Tax Return Deadline to October 31

Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has granted extension in submission of tax return for the tax year 2025.

It has extended another 16 days to file income tax return till October 31.

Earlier, the FBR had extended the deadline for filing tax return for two weeks ago. It had set October 15 deadline for submission of returns.

Various trade bodies had approached the FBR requesting to extend the deadline which was extended now again.

The extension in deadline will help FBR to collect more revenue in an order to meet its revenue target for the tax year 2025. It also aimed at bringing more people in tax net by extending deadline.
