Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Monday, mirroring a sharp decline in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs21,500 to reach Rs490,362, according to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
The price of 10-gram gold also declined, falling by Rs18,433 to settle at Rs420,406.

On Saturday, gold prices had already seen a significant fall, with the per tola rate dropping by Rs25,500 to reach Rs511,862.
In the international market, gold prices declined by $215 to $4,676 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan also fell, with the per tola rate decreasing by Rs601 to settle at Rs8,405.
