High-level Omani delegation visits Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: A distinguished delegation from Oman, representing the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Investment Promotion, visited Pakistan. The delegation was led by Undersecretary for Investment Promotion, Ibtisam Al Farooji, from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, accompanied by representatives from various public and private sectors.Pakistan, Romania agree to strengthen bilateral trade ties
The visitors received a comprehensive briefing at the Special Investment Facilitation Council about the investment opportunities across different sectors and the government’s measures to enhance the overall investment climate in the country.
The delegation engaged in Government-to-Government and Business-to-Business meetings, discussing significant projects in Pakistan through SIFC and the Ministry of Commerce.
The Omani delegation also interacted with the Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Trade and private companies to explore trade and investment possibilities in Pakistan.
During their visit to the Green Pakistan Initiative under SIFC, the delegation showed a strong interest in the latest Land Information and Management System and other initiatives.
The delegation expressed complete confidence in SIFC’s efforts and demonstrated a willingness to explore further investment opportunities in Pakistan within the Government-to-Government and Business-to-Business framework.
This inaugural visit by the Omani delegation provided an excellent platform for the business communities of both nations to explore opportunities for networking and collaboration. The visit is expected to foster bilateral cooperation and open new avenues for economic collaboration between the two brotherly countries.
