How To Apply for HEC PHD scholarship 2025

The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) has announced the launch of the Access to Scientific Instrumentation Program (ASIP) for 2025-26. It has asked the PHD scholars enrolled at public sector Pakistani universities to apply.
Under the scheme, applicants may receive up to Rs 200,000 per year for sample analysis using advanced scientific instruments which are not available at their home institution. HEC Reschedules Tests Amid Twin Cities Unrest
Applicants will be required to have an approved research proposal by their university’s relevant review board. They will submit applications at least 12 weeks before the planned analysis.
Funding covers only analysis which will be carried out at public-sector universities or recognised R&D organisations.
Applicants will have to submit multiple requests. But total funding under the PhD programme cannot exceed Rs 200,000 per year or three disbursements.
