IESCO Ensures Uninterrupted Power Supply For Eid al-Adha
Extensive work has been undertaken to ensure uninterrupted power supply and timely resolution of individual customer complaints during the joyous occasion of Eid al-Adha.IESCO Issues List of Defaulting Government Institutions
Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan, CEO of IESCO, stated that a monitoring room at the head office and six others at the operational circle level have been established. Officers and supporting staff will monitor power supply continuity across 1344 feeders and 114 grid stations.
He mentioned that complaint staff throughout the IESCO region will remain alert, and additional cables, meters, transformers, and other materials have been provided to complaint offices to address any emergencies. Chief Engineer Operation, Muhammad Aslam Khan, as the focal person, will personally oversee all activities.
The CEO of IESCO requested customers to ensure safety measures by not tying sacrificial animals to electricity poles or under transformers. Moreover, he urged them to avoid disposing of remains near IESCO installations, as it attracts birds that could disrupt power continuity.
He directed all field formations to ensure strict adherence to power continuity during Eid holidays, emphasizing that any negligence will not be tolerated.
