Imran Khan Urges Supreme Court for Expedited Appeal Hearing

Imran Khan has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court for an early hearing against his disqualification. It states that the petitioner holds the position of former Prime Minister and head of the largest political party, and actions are underway to remove him from the party leadership after being disqualified by the Election Commission.
The application further explains that cases are pending in Islamabad and Lahore High Courts due to appeals against Election Commission orders, and progress in High Courts is hindered due to the pending appeal in the Supreme Court.
According to the petitioner, due to these cases, the petitioner cannot hold the position of PTI chairman and elected assembly member. The Supreme Court is requested to expedite the hearing of the appeal against disqualification.
