Italian model and reality television personality Pamela Genini was killed during a violent confrontation with her boyfriend inside her Milan apartment on Tuesday night.
According to Italian newspaper Il Giorno, the 29-year-old model was stabbed more than twenty times by her 52-year-old boyfriend, Gianluca Soncin, after a heated argument.
Neighbors reported hearing loud screams and immediately contacted police officers, who found the apartment door locked upon arrival at the upscale building in northern Milan.
Police broke down the door and discovered Genini lying motionless in a pool of blood, while Soncin attempted to harm himself using a kitchen knife.
Officials confirmed that the model suffered twenty-four stab wounds, and the suspect was taken to Niguarda Hospital in critical condition under strict police supervision.
Authorities have charged Soncin with aggravated murder, premeditation, and femicide, a legal term in Italy for killings caused by domestic or gender-based violence.
Investigators said several neighbors witnessed parts of the assault from nearby balconies and later assisted police in reconstructing the sequence of events.
One resident told Il Giorno that they heard Genini screaming for help moments before the fatal attack, prompting immediate calls to law enforcement authorities.

Another witness said they saw a man storming into the apartment shortly before the incident took place, confirming suspicions of an ongoing argument.
Police sources revealed that Genini had recently decided to end her relationship with Soncin following months of growing tension and emotional disputes.
Close friends said she was determined to move forward and focus on expanding her successful business ventures within Italy’s fashion and real estate sectors.
Genini co-founded the luxury swimwear brand SheLux and ran a property firm, earning recognition for her work in Italy’s competitive fashion scene.
She gained additional fame through the Italian reality show The Island of Adam and Eve, which featured contestants participating without clothes on a remote island.
Her social media showcased a glamorous lifestyle filled with travel, designer fashion, and red-carpet appearances at major film festivals including Venice.
Investigations revealed that Soncin was previously arrested in 2010 over tax evasion linked to luxury car trading operations between Italy and Germany.
