Washington – President Joe Biden has announced his withdrawal from the US presidential race after losing the confidence of the Democrats, ending his campaign for a second term.

Biden stated, It has been a great honor to serve as your President, and I intended to run for re-election. However, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and my country.
The 81-year-old Democrat has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s nominee for the presidential race.
In his social media statement to party members, he mentioned, “I have decided not to accept the nomination and will dedicate my full attention to my remaining time as President.
