In a recent podcast, the writer discussed the casting choices and creative process behind one of the most celebrated television dramas of Pakistan.
Khalil-ur-Rehman wrote the script, while Nadeem Baig directed and Humayun Saeed produced the blockbuster for ARY Digital.
The rewoned writer emphasized that a great actor is one who delivers dialogues with natural ease and embodies the character convincingly.

Qamar also noted that this principle applies universally not every actor can fit every role, and sometimes an unexpected performer proves to be the perfect choice.
Discussing the casting, he revealed that he had strongly insisted on casting both Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui for the project.
Qamar admitted he had never worked with Adnan Siddiqui before and initially underestimated his acting range and screen presence.
He later realized the commanding aura and graceful personality if Adnan made him perfect for portraying a wealthy, sophisticated man on screen.
Qamar believes the success of Mere Paas Tum Ho came from the perfect blend of writing, direction, and powerful performances.
He said this rare creative harmony turned the drama into a cultural milestone, reaffirming the enduring strength of Pakistan’s television industry.
