KP govt decides to switch all registered seminaries to solar energy

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration has opted to transition all registered religious schools in the region to solar energy.

The Auqaf department has announced that a survey will be conducted with assistance from the Provincial Energy and Power Department to facilitate the conversion of these institutions to solar power.Thar Coal Critical for Attaining Energy Security, Maintaining Baseload: Energy Experts

Previously, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration had resolved to set up complimentary solar systems in over 1000 religious schools.
