KP Govt Halts Recruitment and Transfers Temporarily

KP government has imposed a temporary ban on all recruitment, posting, and transfers across the province until a new cabinet is officially formed and sworn in.

The CM Secretariat issued instructions to the IG, Chief Secretary, and senior officials, stating that emergency appointments or transfers require the direct approval from CM.

The notification clarified that all ongoing recruitment processes, departmental postings, and staff transfers will remain suspended until further notice.

The decision comes as the government aims to maintain administrative stability and continuity during the transitional period before the new cabinet is formally constituted.

Officials have been instructed to follow directives strictly, permitting only emergency personnel changes that are explicitly approved by the Chief Minister himself.

The suspension currently affects all departments, including law enforcement, education, health, and general administrative services, until the new cabinet officially assumes office.

Authorities clarified that the temporary freeze will not impact ongoing service matters already in progress, except for cases involving new appointments or staff transfers.

This decision follows standard practice to prevent unauthorized appointments or transfers during political transitions.

The provincial administration remains committed to transparency and smooth governance during the interim period.
