Mafia hikes LPG Price by Rs 10 Per Kg
Chairman LPG Association Irfan Khokhar announces nationwide strike on August 5 against LPG Mafia
ISLAMABAD: Mafia has increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs10 per kilogram.
The price in the local market has reached Rs240 per kg, which caused serious concerns for consumers already grappling with inflation.
It is also shocking that the gas mafia increased the price without any official notification from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
The Chairman of the LPG Industries Association said a domestic cylinder now costs Rs2, 830, while a commercial cylinder is priced at a hefty price of Rs10, 900.

They are paying Rs15, 890 for a commercial cylinder. The notified price of LPG stands at Rs177 per kilogram.
According to Ogra’s price, it stands at Rs2, 092 for a domestic cylinder and Rs8, 049 for a commercial cylinder.
Chairman Irfan Khokhar of the LPG Industries Association has announced a nationwide strike on the 5th and 6th of August 2023.
He showed serious concerns over the artificial rise in LPG prices. He accused the gas mafia of exploiting the consumers by charging higher prices.
He called for taking action against black marketers who were pocketing millions of rupees from helpless consumers.
