National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new vehicle verification facility in Sindh, aimed at simplifying the buying and selling process for registered vehicles.
The service has been launched in collaboration with the Sindh government and allows citizens to verify vehicles through NADRA’s Pak ID mobile application.
Under the new system, users can check vehicle and car details directly from their homes using the mobile app, removing the need for initial physical visits.
Once a vehicle’s credentials are successfully verified through the application, citizens can proceed with the remaining registration-related steps at the relevant provincial departments.
NADRA has advised citizens to visit its official website or contact its helpline by dialing 1777 for further information regarding the new service.
Separately, NADRA has also launched a pilot project to expand public access to its services through selected e-Sahulat franchises.

As part of the initiative, facilities for the reprinting of lost Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) and the renewal of expired CNICs have been made available at designated franchises.
According to NADRA officials, the pilot phase has been rolled out at 18 e-Sahulat franchises across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi.
The initiative is intended to reduce pressure on NADRA registration centres while making essential identity-related services more accessible at the community level.
