National Minorities Day being observed

ISLAMABAD: National Minorities Day is being commemorated to emphasize the religious and socio-economic rights of minority groups in Pakistan.President signs Christian Marriage (Amend) Act into law

This observance stems from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which was established to support and protect individuals belonging to religious, linguistic, national, or ethnic minority groups.

The intent behind this day is to underscore the message of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who championed equal rights for all citizens of Pakistan.
