The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the maximum retail price of LPG by Rs 87.21 per 11.8-kg cylinder, effective December 1 2025. 

The new price of the cylinder stands at Rs 2,466.10. OGRA to register LPG dealers

OGRA has set the producer price for LPG at Rs 167,691.40 per ton, which is up from Rs 160,300.43 in November, registering an an increase of Rs 7,390.97 per ton. Consumer prices have followed the same rise which have hit Rs 208,991.40 per ton in December. 

OGRA said the upward revision has reflected a 4.93 per cent jump in the reference price from Saudi Aramco-CP. There has been a 0.15 per cent decline in the average US dollar–rupee exchange rate. This has resulted in increasing the consumer LPG prices by 3.66 per cent month-on-month. 

LPG is used for cooking purpose especially in the northern parts of the country. In winter season, the demand of LPG increases due to low supply of indigenous gas.
