Samsung has widened the rollout of its One UI 8.5 beta program to the United States, giving Galaxy S25 users access to its latest software based on Android 16.
The update was previously introduced in Europe and South Korea.
The first One UI 8.5 beta is available for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra in the US.
The firmware version is S93xU1UEU7ZYL8, with a download size of around 1.3GB, and includes the December 2025 security patch.
Samsung has restricted the beta to unlocked models at this stage. The company confirmed that the Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy S25 FE are not part of the program.
