Pakistan Army arrested three close associates of Faiz Hameed

Further investigations of certain retired officers and their accomplices for fomenting instability at the behest of and in collusion with vested political interests are continuing.

According to security sources, the names of the three officers detained by the military have been revealed. The arrested officers include two retired Brigadiers, Ghafar and Naeem, as well as retired Colonel Asim.

All three officers were involved in communication duties and were part of the coordination between a political party and Lieutenant General (retd) Faiz Hameed.

The two retired Brigadiers are from Chakwal and were close and favored officers of General Faiz, who were also involved in political messaging and facilitation after their retirement.
