Pakistan receives over $800 million in RDAs
The country has received over $800 million in Roshan Digital Accounts (RDAs) from overseas Pakistanis.
The Governor State Bank of Pakistan informed Prime Minister Imran Khan in a meeting held here. He said that it was a good sign for Pakistan.
Earlier Pakistan received over $671 million from over 100 countries in Roshan Digital Accounts (RDAs) from overseas Pakistanis.
The deposits stood at $480 million till February 13 this year.
In a tweet, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) had said earlier that overseas Pakistanis had opened Roshan Digital Accounts from over 100 countries around the world.
It further said that deposits had reached $671 million. Out of the total, the country received half of this amount in the last 8 weeks alone.
