Pakistan Rejects Unilateral Claims on Jammu and Kashmir, Urges India to Engage in Meaningful Dialogue
ISLAMABAD: In reply to media inquiries concerning the recent comments made about Jammu and Kashmir by India’s Foreign Minister, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated The Jammu and Kashmir issue is a globally recognized dispute that must be resolved in line with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and the desires of the Kashmiri people. Resolving this ongoing conflict is crucial for ensuring peace and stability in South Asia.
Pakistan firmly rejects any suggestion that the Jammu and Kashmir dispute has been or can be resolved through unilateral actions. Such assertions are not only misleading but dangerously out of touch with reality, as they completely ignore the actual situation on the ground. India’s unilateral measures in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) cannot and will not alter this fact.Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya confirms separation from wife Natasa Stankovic.
While Pakistan remains dedicated to diplomacy and dialogue, it will respond with resolute determination to any aggressive actions. Genuine peace and stability in South Asia can only be achieved through a resolution that aligns with UNSC resolutions and respects the inalienable rights of the Kashmiri people.
Therefore, Pakistan urges India to cease its provocative rhetoric and unfounded claims regarding IIOJK, and instead engage in meaningful dialogue aimed at a fair, peaceful, and enduring resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir conflict, and for lasting peace in South Asia.
