PM calls for hard work, passion to change fate of nation
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, addressing the main Independence Day ceremony in Islamabad this morning, called for hard work, integrity, and passion to transform the nation’s fate and set Pakistan on the path of development and prosperity.

Regarding the challenges facing the country, the Prime Minister pledged to work tirelessly to reduce inflation and electricity prices and to revitalize Pakistan’s economy. He stressed that lowering inflation and electricity bills is crucial for the growth of agriculture and industry, boosting exports, and providing relief to domestic power consumers.
Prime Minister Sharif announced that the nation can expect good news on the reduction of electricity prices in the coming days and revealed plans to introduce a five-year economic program soon.
He also urged the youth to focus on their studies, training, and skills, and to steer clear of the forces of chaos, anarchy, and deception. The Prime Minister highlighted the threat of digital terrorism, noting that adversaries are targeting young minds to mislead them.
In his address, Prime Minister Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the just struggles of the people of Kashmir and Palestine in their quest for rights.
Additionally, he paid tribute to the contributions of laborers, daily-wagers, engineers, doctors, teachers, students, writers, journalists, sportspeople, and other societal segments for their service to the nation. He also honored the brave personnel of security forces and law enforcement agencies for their supreme sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
