PM can take credit by forming Saraiki Province: Gilani

Islamabad, NA continues discussion on budget for FY 2024-25.

Participating in the discussion, MNA from PPP Abdul Qadir Gilani said that we are taunted of form 45 and form 47 and I have all of these forms.The UN General Assembly approved a resolution entitled “International Day of Dialogue Among Civilizations”

He said that I have defeated all the political parties including Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, but we we want to support Muslim league Nawaz on charter of economy.

Criticizing the incumbent government, Gilani said  ‘we have supported this government but in return what has it given us.’ He said when we will get rid of Takhte Lahore.

Our Saiki Wasaib(Region) pays taxes and by these taxes , Orange Line Lahore is constructed.

‘Should we pass the budget’, he questioned.

Gilani recalled that South Punjab secretariat was formed during PTI tenure, but Muslim League Nawaz government  abolished that secretariat.

Now we are compelled to go to Lahore for our official work, he said.

PPP MNA said we are not inedebted to anyone and we chanted Long Live Pakistan slogan.

He said if prime minister were present, we would have informed, still we are supporting you in national interest. If PM wants to enhance his popularity graph, he will have to do more. And our demand is creation of Saraiki province.

Gilani said if government wants to take credit , I can move the Saraiki province Bill .

He said that opponent of the said bill will get any space in politics.

 Give us budget equal to Lahore and restore the S.Punjab secretariat, he demanded.
