PM Shehbaz pledges expanded sports opportunities for youth
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has affirmed the government’s dedication to directing the energy of young people towards positive outcomes by offering extensive sports opportunities.
He made these statements during a meeting with five-year-old Sufyan Mehsud from Dera Ismail Khan, who recently set a Guinness World Record, in Islamabad today.
The Prime Minister commended Sufyan Mehsud for bringing distinction to Pakistan and his family by achieving a Guinness World Record at such a young age. He instructed Rana Mashhood, Chairman of the Youth Program, and other relevant officials to broaden sports initiatives for the youth.

During the event, Sufyan Mehsud voiced his aspiration to further bolster Pakistan’s status as a future scientist.
In addition, the Prime Minister conversed with Sufyan Mehsud in his native Pashto. He also interacted with Sufyan’s father, Irfan Mehsud, who holds over 100 Guinness World Records and operates a training academy in Dera Ismail Khan. Irfan Mehsud updated the Prime Minister about his academy and the achievements of its athletes.
The meeting was also attended by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program Rana Mashhood, and the Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Climate Change, Romina Khurshid Alam.
