PM to attend Iranian president-elect’s inauguration ceremony in Tehran on Tuesday

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Tehran on Tuesday to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s President-elect, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.

In the meantime, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has officially endorsed Masoud Pezeshkian as the ninth president, following the recent snap elections.

The new president will take the oath of office before parliament on Tuesday.
