Punjab schools revise schedule amid worsening smog
The Punjab Education Foundation introduced a Saturday holiday for partner schools, giving students two weekly days off for rest period.
PEF also revised academic timings, setting regular hours from 8:45am to 1:30pm and concluding Friday classes early at 12:30pm daily.
The updated schedule will remain applicable until April 15, 2026, covering all partner institutions operating under the foundation.
Provincial authorities earlier changed government school hours across Punjab due to worsening smog, aligning operational timings with PEF’s new schedule.
