Refineries’ Production Down Due to Flood of Smuggled Products

Refineries’ production has dropped due to the low uplift of high speed diesel in the wake of rising oil smuggling from Iran.
The average HSD sales per day for the first 24 days of April stood at 15,494 MT (MTD sales of 371,869 MT) against a target of 22,980 MT – down 33%.
Current refinery throughput has been down due to the low upliftment of HSD.
Parco is operating at 85% capacity, NRL 40%, PRL 71%, ARL 32% and Cynergico 34%.
