Riaz assures to accelerate work on FGEHA projects

ISLAMABAD: The Minister for Housing and Works, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, has promised to take action to expedite the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority’s projects, which have been experiencing prolonged delays.Interest rates up on government Loan Scheme for houses

In response to a Calling Attention Notice presented by Shagufta Jumani and others in the National Assembly today, he expressed regret over the delays in the housing projects due to various issues.

He mentioned that efforts will also be made to ensure that landowners receive the market value for their properties.

Today, the House approved two bills: The Elections Amendment Bill, 2024 and the Peaceful Assembly and Public Order Bill, 2024.

The House was then adjourned and is scheduled to reconvene on Monday at five pm.

At the beginning of the session, the House observed a moment of silence for those who gave their lives for the defense and security of the nation.
