The prize bond is issued through the State Bank of Pakistan and remains among the most trusted investment tools in Pakistan’s retail savers market, offering principal security plus a chance at large rewards.
Winners may claim prize money from SBP-BSC field offices, designated commercial banks or National Savings centres. The tax deduction will be 15 % for filers and 30 % for non-filers, in line with current Federal Board of Revenue rules.
The National Savings organisation has long served as a non-bank fundraising arm of the government, drawing on its historical roots dating back to the Government Savings Bank Act of 1873. Institutional trust remains high.
With this latest draw, the Rs 1,500-denomination bond continues its quarterly cadence (draw number 104). Investors view it as a low-risk way to participate in large lotteries while retaining the underlying value of the bond.
