Saudi Crown Prince to Visit Pakistan Before Year-End

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is expected to visit Pakistan this year with final arrangements being completed by respective foreign ministries.

According to diplomatic sources quoted by ARY News, several important agreements are likely to be signed during the visit, covering economic cooperation, defense partnerships, and investment opportunities.

The Crown Prince accepted an official invitation from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and a senior Pakistani official confirmed the visit will take place this year.

In recent months, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have strengthened bilateral ties, particularly after signing a Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement earlier this year in Riyadh.

The agreement ensures that aggression against either country will be considered aggression against both, reflecting their shared security commitments and joint deterrence strategy.

A joint statement from the Prime Minister Office said the pact strengthens defense cooperation, enhances regional stability, and ensures peace through collective responsibility against external aggression.

The statement highlighted that both countries are building on nearly eight decades of historic partnership, rooted in Islamic solidarity, brotherhood, and strategic collaboration.

Saudi Arabia remains a critical partner for Pakistan in economic, political, and defense spheres, while this upcoming visit is expected to expand cooperation further.

Officials believe the visit will reinforce shared regional security goals, increase economic collaboration, and bring greater coordination on strategic initiatives between the two long-standing allies.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman last visited Pakistan in 2019, and this return is seen as a significant boost to Pakistan’s foreign policy outreach.
