Punjab has officially opened online registration for securing attractive vehicle registration numbers through its newly launched e-Auction App and web portal.
The platform, developed jointly by the Punjab Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department and the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), is now live for November.
Citizens can register online and place bids for their preferred car or motorcycle registration numbers until November 30, ensuring a chance to secure unique numbers.
The system allows users to participate from home, eliminating the need to visit auction centers, while maintaining transparency and fairness in the bidding process.
Successful bidders’ details are made publicly available on the app, allowing participants and citizens to verify results instantly and confidently.
According to PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf, the digital platform has fully modernized the auction process, making it easy, efficient, and accessible for everyone across Punjab.

The November auction marks a continuation of Punjab’s initiative to digitize government services, combining technology and convenience for daily users across the province.
Citizens are encouraged to register promptly, explore available numbers, and participate in bidding to avoid missing the November 30 registration deadline.
With this digital system, Punjab is setting an example of how technology can enhance public services, reduce corruption, and improve transparency in auctions.
