Jazz Leads Key Categories in Opensignal’s Mobile Experience Report

Opensignal, a global independent analytics company specializing in mobile network experiences, has recognized Jazz as the leader in various categories.

In the latest Mobile Network Experience Report, Jazz emerged as the top performer in crucial areas such as 4G availability, coverage experience, live video experience, and upload speed experience.

Scoring 90.4, Jazz leads the 4G availability chart, followed by Zong (89.0), Telenor (84.4), and Ufone (79.9) on a 0-100 scale.

In terms of coverage experience, Jazz maintains a significant lead with a score of 6.3 on a 0-10 scale, surpassing competitors Zong (5.3), Telenor (4.8), and Ufone (3.3).

Jazz also excels in live video experience, achieving a score of 35, while Ufone follows closely with 31.4. Zong and Telenor lag with scores of 29.4 and 20.2, respectively.

Similarly, Jazz offers the best upload speed experience, reaching 6.1 Mbps, followed closely by Zong at 5.9 Mbps. Ufone recorded upload speeds of 3.8 Mbps, while Telenor managed only 1.8 Mbps.

According to the latest annual report from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Jazz dominates the cellular market with a 46.3% revenue market share, followed by Zong (22%), Telenor (19.5%), Ufone (11.6%), and SCO (0.3%).

Opensignal’s Coverage Experience metric evaluates the geographic coverage of populated areas on a 10-point scale, representing the user experience as they travel through areas with expected coverage.
